10.4.6. Dismantling, troubleshooting and assembly of the generator 9422.3701

It will be required to you: a key "on 10", the screw-driver, the hammer, a drift from soft metal, a thin chisel, an ohmmeter (autotester).
1. Clear the generator of dust and dirt.
2. Remove a back cover, having wrung out three latches.
3. Turn out two screws 1 and remove the brush holder 2 with tension regulator assembled.
4. Turn out the screw of fastening and remove the condenser installed under the brush holder. Disconnect from the condenser 2 a block 1 with a wire. Turn out four screws 3, unbend conclusions 4 windings and remove the vypryamitelny block.

Note
As the option the condenser can be established outside of the generator (on its protective cover). In this case begin dismantling of the generator with removal of the condenser.

5. Turn out four coupling bolts 1 and uncover 2 from contact rings, having passed through openings conclusions 3 windings.
6. Take out the stator with a winding from a cover from the drive.
7. Clamp slightly an anchor in a vice and turn off a nut of 1 fastening of a pulley. Remove a stripper a pulley 2.
8. Vypressuyte an anchor from a cover from the drive.
9. In need of replacement press bearings from an anchor shaft.
10. Check serviceability of the regulator of tension. Connect a control lamp of 12 V to brushes. Give voltage of 12 V: "+" on the plug, "-" on "mass" of the brush holder. The control lamp has to burn. If the control lamp does not burn, the regulator of tension needs to be replaced.
11. Check brushes (see. "Check and replacement of brushes of the generator 9422.3701").
12. Examine contact rings. If teases, risks, scratches, wear tracks from brushes and other defects are found, rings need to be proshlifovat. If damage of rings does not manage to be removed a skin, it is possible to pierce rings on the lathe, removing the minimum layer of metal, and then to proshlifovat. After a pro-point check a beating of rings by means of the indicator. Maximum permissible beating of 0,08 mm. If the beating exceeds the specified value, replace an anchor.
13. Check an ohmmeter (tester) anchor winding resistance, having connected it to contact rings. Resistance of an anchor has to be within 2,35–2,6 Ohms at 20 °C.
14. Check a control lamp whether there is no short circuit of a winding on the anchor case. For this purpose include a control lamp in the alternating current main voltage of 220 V (it is possible to use the rechargeable battery and a lamp of 12 V). Connect one wire to the anchor case, and the second — serially on each ring. In both cases the lamp should not burn. If at least in one case the lamp burns, so there is a short circuit and it is necessary to replace an anchor or a winding.
15. Examine the stator. On its internal surface there should not be anchor zadevaniye traces about the stator. Otherwise replace bearings of a shaft of an anchor or a cover of the generator.
16. Check whether there is no short circuit of windings of the stator on the case. For this purpose include a control lamp in the alternating current main voltage of 220 V (it is possible to use the rechargeable battery and a lamp of 12 V). Connect a lamp to a stator winding conclusion, and a wire from a current source — to the stator case, at the same time the lamp should not burn. If the lamp burns, so there was a short circuit in a winding, it is necessary to replace the stator or a winding.
17. Check whether there is no break in a stator winding. For this purpose include a control lamp in the alternating current main voltage of 220 V (it is possible to use the rechargeable battery and a lamp of 12 V). Serially connect a control lamp between all conclusions of a winding. In all three cases the lamp has to burn. If at least in one case the lamp does not burn, so there is a break in a winding and it is necessary to replace the stator or a winding.
18. Check diodes of the vypryamitelny block by means of a control lamp of 12 V and the rechargeable battery. For check of positive diodes 1 connect the minus plug of the rechargeable battery through a control lamp to a positive plate of the vypryamitelny block, and the wire going from the plus plug of the rechargeable battery, serially to contact of each positive diode (the scheme of red color). In each case the lamp has to burn. Then change polarity, i.e. "plus" connect batteries through a control lamp to a "plus" plate of the block, and the wire going from the battery minus plug, serially connect to contact of each diode, at the same time the lamp in each case should not burn. For check of negative diodes 2 perform similar operations (the scheme of blue color). If the conditions stated above are not met, then it is necessary to replace the vypryamitelny block.
19. Examine generator covers. At detection of cracks, especially in places of fastening of the generator, a cover it is necessary to replace. Measure diameters of seats under bearings. Diameter of an opening in a cover from contact rings has to make (35,0±0,012) mm, from the drive – 47,0+0,027 mm. Covers are subject to replacement if results of measurement do not get to the specified limits.
20. Check ease of rotation of bearings. If at their rotation the side play between rings, rolling or jamming of bodies of swing is felt, such bearings need to be replaced. It is also necessary to replace bearings with the damaged protective rings or poteka of lubricant.
21. Collect the generator as it should be, the return to dismantling.
