10.9.2. Work of system of injection of fuel

The control unit (controller) obtains information on a condition of the engine from sensors and corrects its work.

At turn of a key of the switch of devices and a starter in situation "I" in the block of control and alarm lamps on 1–2 with the alarm lamp "lights up and dies away CHECK the ENGINE" (see poses. 10 in fig. 1.8) that testifies to serviceability of system and readiness for further work.
Further the valve of shutdown of fuel feeding of the fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP) turns on, the signal from the controller arrives via the relay on the electric pumping-up pump (EPUP) – the pump turns on.
The controller, having obtained information from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, at a temperature below 23 ° C includes glow plugs. At the same time the alarm lamp "repeatedly lights up CHECK the ENGINE" and continues to burn to 15 with (depending on temperature of cooling liquid of the engine).

Preventions
Burning of an alarm lamp "CHECK the ENGINE" more than 15 with testify to the mistakes revealed by system of self-diagnostics.
Launch the engine only after switching off of an alarm lamp.

After launch of not heated-up engine of a glow plug work before achievement of the engine temperature, necessary for normal work.
If after 20 about the engine it was not let, then the controller disconnects EPN.

At the time of launch of the engine the controller always includes EPN.

After start-up and the subsequent warming up of the engine the controller depending on pressing the accelerator pedal gives impulses on the electromagnetic valve of management of supply of vacuum from the vacuum pump on the generator on the valve of recirculation of the fulfilled gases. For management of system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases the controller uses information from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, the sensor of position of the lever of pumping of TNVD fuel and the sensor of provision of a bent shaft.
Control of operation of the engine is exercised by means of sensors of its systems.
The signal of the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft arrives from the controller which, in turn, receives a signal from the sensor of provision of a bent shaft.
At turn of a key of the switch of devices and a starter in the provision "0" of EPN and TNVD finish the work, however after an inadvertent stop of the EPN engine works 20 more with then it is disconnected by the controller.
At failure of sensors and actuation mechanisms the controller automatically passes into emergency operation of work — the alarm lamp "lights up CHECK the ENGINE".
Operation of the engine in emergency operation worsens launch of the engine, increases fuel consumption and toxicity of the fulfilled gases.
For elimination of malfunctions check correctness of connection and serviceability of these sensors.
If an alarm lamp "CHECK the ENGINE" went out, and any actuation mechanism does not work, check correctness of connection of connections and serviceability of the relay of inclusion of candles of an incandescence, the relay of heating of fuel and the electromagnetic valve of management of recirculation of the fulfilled gases according to the scheme.
