4.6.2. Replacement of a belt of the drive of the fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP)

1. Remove the fan with the coupling.
2. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the coupling of the fan to a nave and remove the coupling.
3. Remove TNVD drive belt casings.

Fig. 4.10. An arrangement of tags and adjusting openings for replacement of a belt of the TNVD drive: 1 – an opening on TNVD pulley under the aligning pin; 2 – an opening in a forward cover of camshafts; 3 – an opening in a forward basic neck of the inlet camshaft; 4 – an opening in the block under an adjusting pin; 5 – the index of VMT on a chain cover; 6 – adjusting tag of a rotor of the sensor of provision of a bent shaft; 7 – a pulley with a damper of a bent shaft; 8 – a yoke with soothing rollers; 9 – gear belt of the TNVD drive; 10 – an arm with a tension roller; 11 – nut of fastening of a tension roller; 12 – TNVD drive belt tension spring; 13 – TNVD pulley; 14 – bolts of fastening of TNVD to a forward support; and – a belt branch between TNVD and a pulley of a bent shaft

4. Install the piston of the 1st cylinder in the top dead point of a step of compression. For this purpose once again turn a bent shaft before coincidence of an adjusting tag of 6 (fig. 4.10) on a rotor of the sensor of provision of a bent shaft with the index of VMT (poses. 5 in fig. 4.10) on a gas distribution mechanism chain cover.
5. Record the provision of a bent shaft by means of an adjusting pin, having inserted a pin into an opening 4 in the block of cylinders of the engine.
6. Check coincidence of an opening 2 in a forward cover of camshafts and openings 3 in a forward basic neck of the inlet camshaft. In case of discrepancy of openings take a pin, turn a bent shaft on 360 ° before coincidence of openings and record this situation an adjusting pin, as there will correspond VMT of the piston of the 1st cylinder.
7. Weaken an inhaling of a nut of the 11th fastening of a tension roller of a belt of the TNVD drive and, overcoming effort of a tension spring, turn an arm of a tension roller clockwise against the stop.
8. Tighten a nut 11 and replace a TNVD drive belt.

Fig. 4.9. Adjusting openings on the case and a pulley of TNVD: 1 – TNVD case; 2 – TNVD pulley; 3 – adjusting pin; 4 – TNVD nave groove

9. Tighten a pulley 13 TNVD and record it by means of an adjusting pin (see fig. 4.9).

Fig. 4.11. Fastening of TNVD to its back support: 1 – TNVD; 2 – back support of fastening of TNVD

10. Weaken an inhaling of a nut of fastening of TNVD to a back support 2 (fig. 4.11) and bolts 14 (see fig. 4.10) fastenings of TNVD to a forward arm and move the pump to average situation.
11. Check ease of movement of a yoke 8 (see fig. 4.10) with soothing rollers of a belt for axes and if necessary grease a yoke axis with jellied lubricant.
12. Establish a TNVD drive belt so that to eliminate weakening of a branch and a belt by insignificant turn of a pump housing from average situation counterclockwise (the pump nave at the same time has to be a zashtiftovana an adjusting pin), and pull a branch and turn of the pump.
13. Weaken an inhaling of a nut of the 11th fastening of a tension roller — the belt of the drive will stretch automatically from effort of a tension spring.
14. Turning TNVD pulley a little, achieve a free exit of an adjusting pin from an opening in a pump housing.
15. Tighten bolts of the 14th fastening of TNVD to its forward arm.
16. Tighten a nut of the 11th fastening of a tension roller.
17. Take adjusting pins from the TNVD case, turn a bent shaft of the engine on 720 ° and again record a bent shaft a pin.
18. An adjusting pin check coincidence of a groove of a nave 4 TNVD (see fig. 4.9) and its pulley with an opening on a pump housing, having established a pin in an adjusting opening. At the same time the adjusting pin has to enter an opening freely. At discrepancy of openings weaken bolts of the 14th fastening of TNVD and repeat operations 13-18. Take adjusting pins from openings in the TNVD case and from an opening in the block of cylinders.
19. Tighten a nut of a bolt of fastening of TNVD to a back support 2 (see fig. 4.11).
20. Establish all earlier removed details as it should be, the return to removal.
