5.10. Removal and dismantling of gidronatyazhitel of chains

As gidronatyazhitel constantly support chains in the tense state irrespective of stretching of chains and wear of boots, need of adjustment of a tension of chains in use disappears.

Fig. 5.5. Gidronatyazhitel of a chain: 1 – carving stopper; 2 – backpressure ball valve; 3 – locking ring; 4 – plunger; 5 – case; 6 – spring; 7 – lock ring

The device of a gidronatyazhitel is shown in fig. 5.5. The plunger 4 is installed in the case 5. The spring 6 which is compressed by a carving stopper 1 is inserted into a plunger. In a stopper the backpressure ball valve 2 is installed. The 7th rings are put on a plunger locking 3 and lock. In the drawing the natyazhitel is shown in the non-working ("loaded") state when the lock ring holds a plunger from movement. To bring a natyazhitel to the working condition ("to discharge" it), it is necessary to press the end of a plunger so that the lock ring moved to a pro-point of smaller diameter on a plunger, then under the influence of a spring the plunger will move from the case. A gidronatyazhitel install on the engine in the "loaded" state. The plunger under the influence of a spring and the oil arriving via the valve from the engine lubrication system presses a boot of a natyazhitel and supports a chain in the tense state. As the chain stretches and the boot of a natyazhitel wears out, the plunger farther goes out of the case, the locking ring moves to the following ring flute on the case, interfering with movement of a plunger in the opposite direction. At blows of a chain to a boot of a natyazhitel, for example, at change of power setting the plunger moves back to the case to pro-point width under a locking ring. At the same time it squeezes a spring. Besides, the valve is closed, and in addition there is a damping because oil is squeezed out through a gap between a plunger and the case. Gidronatyazhiteli of the top and lower chains absolutely identical.
It will be required to you: a key "on 12", the screw-driver.
1. Turn out bolts, holding a cover of a gidronatyazhitel as it is influenced by a spring.
2. Then carefully uncover with laying and a noise-insulating washer of a gidronatyazhitel.
3. Take a natyazhitel from a nest of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Similarly remove a natyazhitel of the lower chain.
5. Turn out a carving stopper 1 and take out a spring 2.
6. Take out a plunger 1 of the case 2 gidronatyazhitel.
7. After dismantling wash out in gasoline and dry all details. Examine a plunger. If on its surface there are teases or zaboina, the locking or lock ring is broken, replace a gidronatyazhitel.
8. Examine the case. If on the internal surface of the case there are teases, deep scratches or are damaged ring flutes under a locking ring, replace a gidronatyazhitel.
9. The plunger in the case has to move freely. If the plunger in any situation jams in the case, replace also a gidronatyazhitel.
10. The plunger has to move in the case when the locking ring enters ring flutes on the case, only in the direction in which it moves under the influence of a spring. If the plunger moves in the opposite direction, replace a gidronatyazhitel.
