Cardan transfer (fig. 6.4) is intended for torque transmission from the transfer case to forward and back leading bridges.
The driveshaft of the forward bridge represents a thin-walled steel pipe, the back driveshaft integral, steel. On the one hand the shlitsevy tip on which the sliding fork of the cardan hinge is established is welded on a pipe. Shlitsevy connection of a shaft and fork is condensed with an epiploon. On the other hand the fork of the cardan hinge is welded on a pipe.
Both cardan hinges are connected to flanges, one of which (from a pipe) is attached to a flange of a reducer of the forward bridge, and another — to a flange of the conducted shaft of the transfer case. Each cardan hinge consists of two forks connected by a crosspiece.
